September 16, 2009 General Membership Monthly MeetingWheel demonstration by John McCoy.

John McCoy, FAU Professor of Ceramics received his MFA from the University of Montana in Missoula and has participated in countless exhibitions across the country. John is a functional potter. His work strives for simplicity, honesty and a sense of fluidity dependent on his intuition and feeling. The main influences of his life are both natural and organic objects along with the rich traditions of ceramics. During the last ten years, John has fired his work in an Anagama kiln. It was wonderful seeing John create his beautiful wheel work and view his works on display.
Thank you John for a great demo.
